The Perfect Time to Reflect, Give, and Share

The Perfect Time to Reflect, Give, and Share

The year might be coming to an end, but we shouldn’t let that make us sad. The last six weeks of the calendar year are filled with so many holidays that we are constantly reminded of all that we have. Do you see it? Can you feel it? The love of family and friends, the joy of traditions, all coming together to make one amazing time of year. Having trouble finding it in all the hustle? Here are a few tips to help you appreciate the season more.

1.Take time for yourself. Take a bubble bath and follow it with a guilt-free nap. Eat comfort foods that nourish your mind, body, and soul. Take time off work to travel and see loved ones.

2.Give time to your community. Community is what binds us all together. Donate money to local organizations that help feed and clothe people during the holiday season. Volunteer your time at the food pantries and closets. Pay it forward by paying for someone’s drive-thru or grocery order.

3.Show your love. Bake or order and deliver cookies or casseroles for friends and loved ones. Your actions can inspire others to do the same. You can even send a beautiful winter bouquet to that special someone in your life to remind them just how special they are. This winter we are introducing the Winter Romance flower arrangement to make your winter romance even more romantic.

The holidays should be a time of big family meals, traveling, sharing stories, and creating lasting memories with loved ones — a time to take care of yourself, give back to your community, and show your loved ones how much you love them. It is an opportunity to reflect, give, share, and be thankful for what we have. It’s like the holiday season and winter were designed specifically for spreading love.
