This fall, we want to support the mission of Random Acts of Flowers (RAF), an organization dedicated to brightening lives through the gift of flowers, delivering hope and encouragement. Founded in 2008, RAF recycles and re-purposes donated flowers to deliver bouquets to individuals in healthcare facilities across the country. Every bouquet is a moment of kindness and precious smile.
RAF founder Larsen Jay established this organization after surviving a near-fatal accident. While confined in the hospital, the outpouring of support he received from daily visitors and floral arrangements immediately aided in his recovery. When he was able to move about, he noticed how many of his fellow patients did not have visitors or flowers. Larsen began to re-purpose the flowers he received and deliver them to other patients, starting the very first “random acts of flowers” deliveries.
Currently, there is no RAF branch in Orlando, but we want to bring it to Central Florida. Help us by donating any used vases for us to re-purpose or volunteer your time by delivering "Kindness" bouquets to the hospital.
